~ 4 Major Milestones of Christ’s Work
On Our Behalf ~
Christ Died To Redeem Us
~ “Our
great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who
gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and
purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with
all authority. Let no one despise you” (Titus 2:13b-14).
Christ Rose To Justify Us
~ “It shall be imputed to us
who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was
delivered up because of our offenses, and was
raised because of our justification” (Romans 4:24b-25).
Christ Lives To Save Us ~ “But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable
priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost
those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make
intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:24-25).
Christ Will Return To Glorify Us
~ “Since you were raised with
Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the
right hand of God. Set your mind on
things above, not on things on the earth.
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory”
(Colossians 3:1-4).
the key question:
“Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15). This is the most important question you will
ever answer. If you do not answer it you have made the biggest mistake anyone
can make!
